Sedans from Tampa International Airport to Clearwater Beach start at $135. SUVs start at $205. This rate covers a direct point-to-point transfer in a standard black vehicle. Tolls and fuel are included. Terminal meet-and-greet, parking, and wait beyond the included grace period are extra. Gratuity is not included unless your corporate account includes it.
What roads do we use and how long is the drive?
The distance is about 20 miles. The most direct route uses the Courtney Campbell Causeway, State Road 60, across Old Tampa Bay. Some drivers use Interstate 275 north to U.S. Highway 19, then State Road 60 west across the Clearwater Memorial Causeway. Drive time is usually 35 to 55 minutes. Off-peak arrivals can reach the lower end of the range.
What is the traffic reality and when should you add buffer?
The Courtney Campbell Causeway can bottleneck on Friday afternoons and summer weekends. U.S. 19 and State Road 60 slow near the Drew Street and Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard intersections. Clearwater Beach sits on a barrier island across the Intracoastal Waterway. Pier 60 hosts a nightly sunset festival that crowds the causeway approach. Clearwater Beach is regularly ranked among the top beaches in the United States, which keeps visitor traffic high. Add 30 to 45 minutes during spring break, holidays, and beach weekends.
What vehicles are used?
Black sedans are typically Lincoln Continental or similar full-size models. SUVs are usually Chevrolet Suburbans or Cadillac Escalades depending on affiliate availability. Sedans fit up to three passengers with two large bags. SUVs seat six or seven and handle more luggage. We do not own vehicles in Tampa. Our dispatch team is a Tampa-focused service that coordinates every ride through vetted local affiliate operators. The exact make and model may vary.
What should you know before booking?
Beach hotels and condos have limited loading zones. Chauffeurs can usually pull to the front entrance briefly but cannot park at the curb. Sand and luggage are common on beach transfers. The Clearwater Marine Aquarium sits on Island Estates near the beach approach. Let us know if you have oversized bags, surfboards, or golf clubs so we can assign the right vehicle.
