Weddings and private events in Tampa Bay usually involve more moving parts than a single ride: a bridal party getting ready at a Hyde Park home, guests staying at downtown and Westshore hotels, a ceremony in one place, a reception in another and a send-off at the end of the night. We plan chauffeured transportation for all of it with sedans, SUVs, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and Sprinter vans, booked through one reservation and one dispatcher.
How we plan a wedding day
Start with the timeline your planner or venue has already written. We map each movement against it: who needs to be where, how many people are traveling, and how much time the vehicle needs between stops. From there we recommend a vehicle mix and a booking type. Most couples choose hourly service for the vehicles that stay with the wedding party and scheduled runs for guest shuttles.
- Share the timeline. Ceremony and reception addresses, photo stops and the last departure time.
- Confirm headcounts. The bridal party, family and any guests who need rides from hotels.
- Choose vehicles. We match each movement to a vehicle class and write the plan into the reservation.
- Final check. Shortly before the day, confirm names, addresses and any changes so every chauffeur works from the same run sheet.
Choosing vehicles for a Tampa wedding
The Mercedes-Benz S-Class is the usual choice for the couple: quiet, generous in the rear seat and understated in photographs. The Cadillac Escalade seats six, which suits parents or a small bridal party traveling with dresses and bouquets. For larger groups, a Sprinter carries up to fourteen guests together, which keeps a bridal party on schedule and brings hotel guests to the ceremony at the same moment. We do not operate stretch limousines; our vehicles are the modern chauffeured equivalent.
Routes and venues around the bay
Tampa weddings travel across the whole region. A downtown ceremony followed by a reception in Ybor City is a short run on surface streets. Hyde Park and Davis Islands celebrations sit close to the downtown hotels. Receptions on the Pinellas side, in St. Petersburg or out on Clearwater Beach, mean crossing the Howard Frankland Bridge, the Gandy Bridge or the Courtney Campbell Causeway, and we build that crossing time into the plan, especially on weekend afternoons when beach traffic is heavy. For guests flying in, we can handle arrivals at Tampa International and St. Pete-Clearwater the day before.
Other private events
The same planning applies to anniversaries, milestone birthdays, proms, galas at the Straz Center and dinners where nobody wants to drive home. For a night out, hourly charter keeps the car with you between stops. For large gatherings spread across several hotels, the approach we use for convention shuttles works for private events too.
Pricing for weddings and events
Hourly service is $120 per hour for a sedan, $150 for an SUV, $230 for an S-Class and $240 for a Sprinter, with a three-hour minimum for every vehicle. Point-to-point runs start at $130 in a sedan and $160 in an SUV. Your quote reflects the vehicles, hours and routes in your timeline, and the booking form confirms the final price before you pay. The rates page lists route examples.
What to know before booking
Weekend dates fill first, and vehicle availability depends on the schedules of our local affiliate operators, so reserve once your venue and date are set. Tell us about any guest who needs extra help getting in and out of a vehicle, and about luggage if a car will also handle a hotel checkout or an airport run the next morning.
